GKS프로그램은 외국인 학생들에게 대한민국 고등교육기관에서 수학할 기회를 제공하여 국제교육교류 촉진 및 국가 간 우호관계증진을 도모하는것을 목적으로 합니다. 

GKS program is to promote international educational exchange and promote friendship between countries by providing foreign students with the opportunity to study at Korean higher education institutions.

What kind of track do you have, Embassy track or University track?

답변1. 학부진학을 희망하는 경우, 공관전형으로만 지원가능합니다.

In case of undergraduate program, you can only apply through the Embassy Track.

No, you cannot apply for the Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy majors through the GKS program.

답변6. 의과대학, 치과대학, 약학대학, 언더우드국제대학, 음악대학, 교육과학대학으로 지원이 불가합니다.
College of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, UIC, Music, Educational Sciences are NOT applicable.

영어능력시험성적은 필수제출서류가 아닙니다.

It is not a required document.  

초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교 재학사실증명서는 12학년 미만 학제 출신자 중 서로 다른 2개 이상의 학제에서 수학한 경우에만 제출하는 서류입니다.

Certificate of Registration for Elementary, Middle and High school are required only for students who have attended two schools or more from different education systems, with one being less than 12 years of schooling.

1. 해당서류는 비자발급을 위하여 필요한 서류입니다.

2. 외국인전형 지원자는 서류제출기한내에 계좌 잔고증명서를 제출해야하며, 잔고액은 미화 25,000달러 이상이어야 합니다.

3. 본인 명의의 잔고증명서 제출이 불가한 경우, 부모님의 계좌 잔고증명서를 제출 가능합니다.

4. 계좌 잔고증명서가 한국어 또는 영어가 아닐 경우 공증 받은 한글(영어) 번역서를 제출해야합니다.
 

1. This is a required document to issue your Visa.

2. Applicants MUST submit the Bank certificate of deposit balance and the balance should be above 25,000USD.

3. If it is not possible to submit the bank certificate under the applicant’s name, a certificate of the applicant's parents can be accepted.

4. The document must be in either Korean or English. If not, applicants need to submit notarized Korean (or English) translation.

1. 의과대학, 치과대학, 약학대학, 간호대학은 3월 입학만 지원 가능합니다.
2. 의과대학, 치과대학, 약학대학, 간호대학에 지원시 연세대학교 한국어학당 한국어능력시험(수료증명) 5급 이상 또는 국립국제교육원 한국어능력시험(TOPIK)5급 이상의 성적을 반드시 제출해야 합니다.
3. 의과대학, 치과대학, 약학대학은 6년 과정입니다.
4. 의과대학, 치과대학, 약학대학은 정부초청장학생프로그램으로 선발하지 않는 모집단위입니다.

1. College of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing are only applicable for the Spring's Intake.
2. In case of College of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing, applicants MUST submit a level 5 or higher Korean language certificate from Yonsei KLI or TOPIK score level 5 or higher when they apply.
3. College of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy are 6-years courses.
4. Students applying for the following college/major are NOT eligible for KGSP (Korean Government Scholarship Program): College of Medicine, Dentisry and Pharmacy.
